A once far-off concern, coronavirus is now affecting our sacred community. And while there are varying degrees of unease about the threat, one thing is for certain – it will, in some way, affect all of us.
At VayaClean, we take the health and the safety of our customers and staff very seriously, so we are taking extra measures to ensure our facilities are sanitized. We are continually wiping down door handles, terminals, and work surfaces after each interaction to mitigate risk. But that’s not enough. According to the CDC, coronavirus can live on porous surfaces for up to 24 hours. So, if you have been traveling or suspect your garments have been in contact with coronavirus, please bring them to us and alert the team immediately. We will quarantine the items and take special precautions when processing to prevent the spread of germs. If you own a second home or have out of town visitors, please ensure bedding is handled similarly. Our cleaning processes naturally destroy contaminants, but it is of the utmost importance we protect our employees’ health by alerting them to any potential concerns before items are processed. Like the rest of the world, we are carefully monitoring. If you are in need of your garments soon, we encourage you to pick them up early this week, as the situation is ever-evolving. Schools and businesses continue to close, and VayaClean may have to make tough decisions for the wellbeing of our community and our family of employees. This is no easy time. Us Tahoe folk are a resilient bunch, and we stick together. Thank you for your support as we navigate this challenging situation. |
